Brittany graduated from Colorado State University with a DVM in 2015. During the DVM program, her predominant focus was on public policy, legislation, and regulation. She blogged for the Merck Veterinary Manual Student Stories between 2013 - 2015.
Brittany currently works primarily in the fields of animal welfare, food safety, and meat product export in New Zealand. In her professional career, she aims to help facilitate the movement of animal products around the world, and serve the profession by helping legislators and policymakers connect the dots between laws, regulations, and animal health both domestic and abroad.
