Fourth-Year, Louisiana State University
I originally come from mainland China and this is my third year studying in the US. I enjoy the food, weather, culture in Louisiana a lot and would love to explore other parts of the US and its neighbor countries whenever I am on vacation.
I was born in the year of goat, however, my favorite animal is a cat and my career goal is to be a feline medicine specialist. I also have a keen interest in integrative medicine and just finished a veterinary acupuncturist course in 2016. In regard to my hobbies, I actually enjoy cooking as much as studying. Developing a new recipe makes me feel as accomplished as getting good grades at school. No matter how difficult life or school is, I am always grateful to those kind people I’ve met in the US and I also met my husband here at LSU.
This journey has brought me countless of happiness (numerous tough times as well) and I look forward to the rest of it with an always optimistic mind - “You either have a good day or great day.”
