Third-Year, Tuskegee University
Kaisha was born on the island of Puerto Rico, where she was raised swimming in the ocean and playing in the sand. Ever since she could remember, she has had a passion for animals (especially turtles and elephants). Becoming a veterinarian sounded like the perfect job.
Kaisha obtained her Bachelor’s in Science from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico in 2015 and currently attends Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine as part of the 2021 class. Throughout her time as a student, she has had the opportunity to work in Thailand at an elephant sanctuary, in Ecuador with a non-profit, and at private practices in the United States.
Her future goals involve becoming a board-certified veterinary radiologist and doing international work.
