The moment I have been dreaming about since before I took my exam at the beginning of December has finally arrived. Our NAVLE results appeared by surprise yesterday, and I’m very happy and relieved to say that I passed! Waiting anxiously has been my mindset for weeks now, and it is very nice to have that weight off my chest knowing that I passed and don’t need to frantically renew my study membership and re-apply to take the exam.
I’m currently on a radiology rotation at the school, and in our downtime one of my classmates happened to check the NAVLE website just for kicks and was very surprised to see her result on her computer screen. This, of course, sent us all into a mass panic as we very quickly tried logging in to the website with hands shaking. Once my “PASS” appeared on my screen, I gasped in excitement, and then immediately started sobbing happy tears. It was a little embarrassing to completely lose control over my emotions in school, but whatever, it was for a good reason. We were all very excited as gradually everyone checked their results and everyone on my rotation passed, so we high-fived each other and went about our day in high spirits.
Unfortunately, not everyone passed the exam, but there is another chance to take it before the school year ends. I’m completely confident that anybody who didn’t get it this time will kick some NAVLE butt the next time around. Just know that you’ve got your classmates behind you 100%!
