It’s hard to put into words how I’m feeling about my current stage of life. I’ve just ended my third-year which finally marks the end of my didactic courses. I’m about to start clinics in just a few short weeks and then before I know it, I’ll be taking the biggest exam of my life: The NAVLE.
I’ve started to slowly prepare for the NAVLE by investing in a study program that will allow me to study throughout my clinical year. I will be using VetPrep for the next 6 months and have already enjoyed the program layout and tools. I’m utilizing their 6-month study plan to help provide structure to my study plan since I anticipate it will be challenging to study while I am in my clinical year.
For those of you that are still in your first, second, or third years of vet school, I recommend that you start doing small things to prepare yourselves for the NAVLE. For me, I made sure to do 1-2 daily NAVLE practice questions each day that were sent from different study programs such as VetPrep or Zuku. Both companies offer great services to veterinary students from day 1!
How are you guys preparing for the NAVLE? Let me know in the comments!
